CT Watchdog Breaks Down 2017 Back to School Reliability Report

May Be Time To Consider Purchasing A Tablet

ctwatchdog.com September 1, 2017

If you have any money left after spending a small fortune on school supplies you might want to consider splurging on yourself with a new laptop according to RESCUECOM

There are several reliable ones to choose from and one to forget about.

Anyone looking for reliability in their tech devices should note that Amazon holds a fairly large market share and a minuscule repair share by comparison. Amazon’s Fire tablet has always been one of the most popular and best performing tablets on the market. It does not hurt that it has one of the best displays available as well.

RCA recently emerged with a line of tablets and smartphones that offer higher quality than typically found in an extremely reasonable price range perfect for amilies on a budget.

Apple customers have always been extremely loyal. Apple products are consistently reliable and suffer very few issues considering its market share, being particularly safe from viruses compared to other brands.

Samsung shows consistent reliability, continuing to release better versions of its popular Galaxy line. Google lists the Tab and the Tab Pro 2-in-1 as the top-rated mobile devices for school.

Lenovo, HP, Acer, Asus, and even Dell now focus mainly on laptops and 2-in-1s, popular among those who appreciate their versatility and the fact that they operate as tablets with the greater ease of a laptop. These brands offer some of the best 2-in-1 convertible and hybrid laptops of 2017 in reviews by PC Mag, techradar.com, and others.

Microsoft’s Surface Studio would seem like a great device, but that may not be the case for everyone in your family. While extremely innovative, it is also exceedingly fragile, not good for children and teens who tend to treat things carelessly.

...A hacker with the alias "DEATHRIDGE" entered a company Teams meeting via someone invited as a guest, and started taking control of my computer and my life. They sent emails pretending to be me that really looked like they were coming from me. They tried to take control of our corporate bank accounts, added themselves as a user to my Microsoft account, and locked me out of my computer as my passwords no longer worked. My ability to run a telecom company ground to a halt, and all my company and personal information was at their fingertips. I felt so helpless, and I needed folks smarter than the hacker(s) to do battle for me. Our typical computer pros couldn't handle it, and neither could other "experts" I called. Lucky for me I called RESCUECOM, and they immediately got to work. They didn't complain though I was asking for help in the middle of the night, but immediately got to work and worked non-stop to restore everything and protect me going forward. The team at RESCUECOM are my knights in shining armor, and they're the absolute best! less
