Apple Daily Report

The results are in for RESCUECOM’s 2014 Q2 Computer Reliability Report, and has Apple in second place. The report includes computers and tablet. While it’s hard to believe that the Cupertino, California-based company didn’t take first place, it still moved up from the third spot in the previous survey.

RESCUECOM’s Computer Reliability Report for the second quarter of 2014 shows Samsung maintaining its position as the top manufacturer in computer reliability. Samsung kept its spot at the top of the reliability rankings for the second straight quarter, holding firm against its competition. Samsung was the only manufacturer that managed to obtain a reliability grade of A+.

RESCUECOM says Apple has climbed to the number two position in reliability after another strong quarter. The company received a reliability grade of A.

1 - Computer repair share percentages and computer reliability scores include tablets. 2 – The computer reliability report does not include “other” manufacturers, defined as all manufacturers that have below 1.0% market share. 3 - Market share numbers are provided by IDC.

Asus made the largest gain of any manufacturer this quarter. The company’s reliability score jumped up 32 points from the previous report. Asus was sixth place in the reliability rankings for the first quarter of 2014. However, the company ascended to third place for the second quarter.

RESCUECOM determines computer reliability scores by comparing the market share of a manufacturer’s shipped computers and tablets to the percentage of computer repair and tablet repair calls received by RESCUECOM’s Certified Level-3 Technicians for that manufacturer’s products.

...Rescuecom has once again rescued me. This time from a potential identity theft situation, and then after solving that, updating all security and operating systems. All with incredible patience and expertise in what for me was a very distressing situation. My level 3 tech Maddy spent literally days getting everything straightened out and David gave me some tips and advice that I have used. The technicians at Rescuecom are for me the best and most professional, and are always there to help quickly, with understanding and kindness, when you need them most. less

...Jim P. was very good in explaining why a call was inputted and explained the updates that he was going to do from both Windows and Rescuecom. After completed he helped with some boot up programs to be disabled to help give me a little more "speed" in startup. Great experience. less
