CONSUMER ADVICE: Computer buyers should take time

The national computer repair company RESCUECOM has issued a Holiday Computer Buyer Checklist -- items to consider before purchasing the first one the retailer suggests you get.

They include:

Protect against the bugs. Make sure you've purchased an anti-virus and anti-spyware software programs with the computer.

...Jim P. was very good in explaining why a call was inputted and explained the updates that he was going to do from both Windows and Rescuecom. After completed he helped with some boot up programs to be disabled to help give me a little more "speed" in startup. Great experience. less
