Samsung’s Galaxy III Is Sporting The New Exynos 4 Quad Chip!

As summer actually begins, it is hard not to turn on the television and see multiple advertisements for smartphones during any given commercial break.  Smartphone advertisers are capitalizing on the idea that their phones can be associated with activity, youth, and vigor; they know that during the summer people travel more and are outside more often.  Many of the advertising campaigns are geared toward making the connection between their smartphone and your outdoor activity.  One smartphone manufacturer is doing that less, though.  Instead, Samsung is focusing on power with their advertising campaign surrounding the Samsung Galaxy III.

The Samsung Galaxy III is powered by the new Samsung Exynos 4 Quad processor and that represents a significant step up for the chipset in a Samsung smartphone.  By utilizing one of Samsung’s new processors, the company is hoping – in addition to providing customers with more processing power for their smartphones – to raise their profile in the computer market.  At the outset of 2012, Samsung had one of the more reliable computer lines and the company is hoping that the successful release of the Samsung Galaxy III will encourage smartphone users to look into purchasing Samsung laptop computers as well.

The Samsung Exynos 4 Quad processor boasts enough processing strength to multitask complex programs.  So, for example, the Exynos 4 Quad may allow you to play a high-definition video while browsing the Internet without any loss of rendering or download speed.  The Exynos 4 Quad chip is also designed to interact with more sophisticated graphics rendering programs.  As a result, devices using the Exynos 4 Quad will have more realistic 3-D graphics for gaming and for movies.

The use of the Exynos 4 Quad processor in the Samsung Galaxy III represents Samsung’s best competition to Apple’s iPhone 4S yet.  The 3-D graphics rendering on the Samsung Galaxy III should make for a more vivid play experience.  As well, the Galaxy III features a digital camera function that is enhanced by the Exynos 4 Quad.  The Exynos 4 Quad processor should allow you to take high-quality digital pictures with the Samsung Galaxy III without a lag between shots!  At the same time as the Exynos 4 Quad is delivering impressive processing speeds, it is utilizing less power than similar processors.  The design of the Exynos 4 Quad allows it to perform complex operations without drawing as much power as previous chipsets.  As a result, the Samsung Galaxy III’s battery life may be improved by up to 20% over the prior Samsung smartphone model.

Samsung is betting high with the Galaxy III, but with the power of the Exynos 4 Quad processor, it seems like a pretty safe bet for consumers.
