Keeping Patriot Competitive In A Crowded Market: Mai Kosla Succeeds!

You might think, given the sheer volume of portable devices and portable memory options, that marketing flash drives and other memory products would be exceptionally easy.  Nothing could be further from the truth, though.  With so many available options, consumers frequently become confused or simply buy the least expensive option that is right before them.  Few companies know how complicated a business it is to effectively market new memory products.  Since 1985, Patriot Memory has been delivering quality computer storage devices and flash drives.  As Patriot looked to the crowded marketplace, the company knew it had to make some changes.  That was when they promoted Mai Kosla!

Mai Kosla is the Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales Operations at Patriot Memory.  In early 2012, Kosla was promoted from within the company to take the highest marketing position at Patriot.  CEO Doug Diggs praised her for her extensive track record of success for Patriot Memory and Kosla has effortlessly made the transition to her new position.  Given how Mai Kosla pioneered many of Patriot Memory’s sales channels around the world, it is unsurprising that she is immediately comfortable with her new responsibilities.

Having studied at Heald College for two years, Mai Kosla’s career path was wide open when she entered the workforce.  She took a job at Everex in the technical support department.  Everex was Kosla’s first job in the tech sector and though she kept the technical support job for a little over a year and a half, it was an experience that would help her define a career path within the tech sector.

When Mai Kosla returned to working in the tech sector in October of 1992, she found the right fit for her.  Mia Kosla joined PDP Systems, a computer memory company in the San Francisco area.  Starting as a Regional Sales Manager, Mia Kosla quickly discovered that she had a knack for selling computer hardware.  It did not take long before Kosla’s supervisors noticed how good she was and they promoted her.  Mia Kosla was serving as the Vice President of Sales for PDP when Patriot Memory found her.

With over seven years of proving herself as Vice President of Sales for Patriot Memory, in her new role of Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales Operations, Mia Kosla is continuing to foster growth for Patriot Memory!
