As CEO Of Avanquest North America, Roger Bloxberg Is Building Better Software!

Today’s software companies face a number of challenges that software companies did not have, or were not as extreme, thirty years ago.  Now, in addition to increased competition, software companies face licensing issues, increased piracy, and more intense marketing campaigns to remain commercially successful.  That is why software companies need corporate leadership from an individual who truly understands the complexities of international economics.  Software manufacturer Avanquest has Roger Bloxberg!

Roger Bloxberg is the Chief Executive Officer of Avanquest North America, one of the top ten retail software publishers in the United States.  Bloxberg was no stranger to software when he took over the CEO position in 2007; he came to Avanquest when Avanquest bought out the software company he co-founded.  Since taking over the operations of Avanquest North America, Bloxberg has worked steadily to incorporate products from his prior company, as well as increase brand recognition for Avanquest in the U.S.

Roger Bloxberg is one of many CEOs in the tech sector who has risen to that prominent position with only a Bachelor’s Degree.  Bloxberg grew up in Southern California and has been loath to leave the area!  After graduating from high school, he attended UCLA.  At the University of California at Los Angeles, Roger Bloxberg studied political science.  He graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Political Science, but focused more on the tech sector than any political arena after he earned his degree.

In 1984, Bloxberg joined forces with his best friend, Todd Helfstein.  Together, they founded Nova Development Corp.  Nova Development Corp was a consumer software publisher and software developer.  As CEO of Nova Development Corp, Roger Bloxberg shepherded the company from a California computer start-up to an internationally-recognized software company.  Under Bloxberg’s direction, Nova Development Corp acquired licensing rights to several franchises that synergized home improvement and design software with popular television programs and networks!

In 2007, Avanquest bought out Nova Development Corp and Roger Bloxberg joined the company as part of the deal.  Still content in California, Avanquest used Bloxberg and his U.S. connections to strengthen their operations in North America.  As CEO, Roger Bloxberg has continued to guide Avanquest toward continued growth!
