The Belly Card for Small Businesses – Logan LaHive

You may soon be taking something new with you on your smartphone as you head over to your favorite venue.  You won’t want to leave home without Belly card installed as an app.  Your reward for scanning your Belly card may be to arm wrestle the chef for a burger or make like a monkey and grab a free banana.  In addition to unusual loyalty rewards like these, your Belly app will also tell you where you can get a Belly Bite – a free taste of something special.  Belly gets to know its partner merchants and customizes the rewards with unique options for every business.

Powering this rewards platform for small businesses is Belly CEO Logan LaHive.  Logan states that deeper connections to the uniqueness of the business can increase the frequency of customer visits by an average of 20 percent.  Belly tracks and analyzes customer data so businesses can see how successful this approach is for them.

This idea of personal connections seems to extend to Logan’s relationships with his company employees as well.  As he builds his team, he meets with each new hire and hosts a weekly companywide open forum.  Logan’s exceptional skill at selling vision now pervades throughout his team as the company’s database has increased to now more than 700,000 members nationwide.

Smartphone owners need on-the-go tech support that follows them to all of their favorite spots, worldwide.  Tech support providers such as Rescuecom are everywhere that Belly cards are currently used.

Logan claims his career path and clear goal in life as an entrepreneur was set while at the Entrepreneurship program at Cal Poly, teaching the benefits of hands on work experience.  Working initially at a mobile payment firm startup and upon the failure of the company, moved to Lightbank, presenting his mobile app concept to this digital technology venture capital firm.  Though the firm never picked up his original concept, they did hire him to help collaborate on solving the loyalty problem for small businesses.  Since the firm owned the domain Bellyflob.com, Belly began with the name Bellyflop.  The founder soon changed the name to Belly for belly full of rewards.  According to Logan, “Flop” has become the brand’s mascot dog!

Providing unique, customized programs for small businesses is important when it comes to business IT services for a wide range of technology solutions.  Belly’s founder Logan LaHive is devoting his life to keep small businesses from going ‘belly up”.  Logan is one of the very cool people to keep an eye on!
