DoubleDutch CEO Lawrence Coburn Creates Engaging Apps for Your Company’s Events

When your company or organization is holding an event or sponsoring a conference, you want your visitors to engage as much as possible.  Lawrence Coburn is a cool person in technology who wants to help you keep attendees involved at all times by creating special mobile applications for your business’s events.  Coburn founded DoubleDutch in 2010 and since then has been helping companies get a better return on investment for every major social event or conference they hold.  Coburn’s company create apps that aim not only to help visitors get the most out of a company’s events, but also help each company optimize its events as much as possible in the future.  Coburn’s goal is to ensure that each event or conference a business holds provides as much benefit to the business as possible in the long run.

Coburn’s company’s apps have many features for event-goers to utilize.  Companies can upload full schedules for their events for visitors to access. Users can then create personalized agendas quickly using the schedule within the app.  Coburn has also made sure that DoubleDutch’s clients can embed surveys and polls within an event app so that they can get quick feedback about their choices for an event.  The surveys can also help companies learn more about an event’s audience, including what types of people choose to attend certain activities.  Coburn wants companies to use these features to analyze their events and optimize them in the future.  DoubleDutch also offers the option to include multiple events in one app, so if your company is running a series of related events, you can keep all the data in one place.  Anyone who has trouble using one of Coburn’s apps at an event or conference should find smartphone tech support to get on track.

If you choose DoubleDutch to make mobile apps for your company’s event, remember you will still need solid business IT support to ensure the app works properly along with all the other technology at your event.

Before founding DoubleDutch, Coburn gained experience running a business as the CEO of RateItAll, a company focused on gathering consumer ratings online.  He also previously worked as a manager at Nortel Networks and as director of human resources at Larscom.  With such extensive leadership experience, it’s unsurprising that Coburn has managed to build DoubleDutch to its current state in only a few years.  We’ll have to see if this cool person in technology can continue his success as he attempts to grow his company even more in the future.
