Avocado Makes Private Communication Fun and Easy

Social networking has made online communication easy, but privacy is a key issue with platforms like Twitter and Facebook.  While those services have their own private messaging applications, all it takes is a small mistake like clicking on the wrong button to broadcast a private message to all your friends, business partners, and family accidentally. Then you find yourself calling tech support for help deleting the message as you try to limit the damage. Social networking companies like Facebook design their services for mass communication, but there is a cool product that is available for social network-style private communication between only two people.  Avocado is a service available on Android devices, iOS devices, and the web that facilitates private communication between you and one other person.   This ensures the privacy of your messages and makes sure you’ll only ever send private messages and media to the intended recipient.

The team at Avocado designed the app with couples in mind.  It is not only a private chatting application, but also includes features such as shared grocery and to-do lists and a shared calendar.  Couples who live together can collaborate on to-do lists in real time so that both parties are always aware of what each other needs. Users can also collaborate on the calendar, making edits so their partner can see when important events come up.  The app is more than a solution for private chatting, but also a tool to help organize your daily life with your significant other.  If you need help using Avocado’s collaboration tools on your phone, contact smartphone PC support.

Avocado is also a good tool for communication when you are apart from someone.  For example, you may be on a business trip, but you and your significant other might be in the midst of plans for a future event.  You can still communicate about those plans and work on them as you travel with Avocado’s lists and calendar features.  Avocado aims to give couples a single space where they can keep their life in order and keep each other informed at all times.

Avocado’s makers designed it for couples, but the core concepts of privacy and collaboration have other potential uses as well.  It’s possible such features would also be useful for business partners working on a startup who want to keep their business plans secret in the early stages.  Whether or not Avocado’s makers attempt to expand their concept and apply it to other situations is still up in the air.  There is no doubt however that this is a cool product when you’re looking for a private communication and planning solution.
