As a project manager for various divisions, including IT, within Panalpina, Monika Ribar exhibited strong management abilities from 1991 to 1995. In 1995, she was promoted to Corporate Controller of Panalpina, a position she held for five years. As an executive, Ribar served on the Board of Directors while taking on corporate offices like Chief Information Officer and Chief Financial Officer. Since 2006, Monika Ribar has led Panalpina as CEO.
Because of her success at managing Panalpina, and her expertise in understanding how large-scale manufacturing operations work, Monika Ribar’s expertise is highly sought-after. In addition to running Panalpina, Ribar is on the Board of Directors of Logitech and Sika AG. Pending approval, she will be added to the Board of Directors of Swiss International Airlines in June!
