Social networks rise and fall lately with a frequency that is troubling for those who become invested in the new social networks appearing on the Internet. Pinterest tries very hard to bring the social aspect of Internet discovery to the forefront. With Pinterest, no longer are you surfing the web alone and discovering things quietly. When you discover something visually exciting, you post it to Pinterest and initiate conversations with others in your life.
