Helping Avid Customers Make Their Dreams Come True: Jodi Sweeney!

Sometimes, new technologies require additional interactions with the company that produces them.  For mundane issues, virtually every company has a customer service department.  But for complex products, many companies have a department that focuses on the user experience with the product and they develop services that better meet the needs of customers utilizing their equipment.  In the case of Avid Technology, which makes quality audio and video production equipment, there is a Customer Success Department.  That department is headed by Jodi Sweeney!

Jodi Sweeney is the Vice President of Customer Success of Avid Technology, the parent company of M-Audio, Euphonix, Sibelius, and Pinnacle.  Avid Technology and all of its subsidiaries are dedicated to the manufacture of high-quality audio and video production equipment for both personal and professional purposes.  Sweeney, a dedicated executive with a deep interest in both customer service and marketing, has derived a great deal of satisfaction by helping artists and producers using Avid’s equipment.

A graduate of Northeastern University, Jodi Sweeney has long been interested in management.  Compaq Computers, where she worked as a Director of Business Operations, fostered her interest in business and management.  Inspired to advance, Sweeney completed her Master’s of Business Administration at Northeastern.  With that degree, Jodi Sweeney joined the management team at GTECH.  As a Director of Strategy and Business Process Development for GTECH, Sweeney became fluent in the practical workings of big tech companies.  After working for GTECH for almost seven years, Jodi Sweeney was ready for a new challenge and, despite it being a smaller company, she joined Avid Technology.

Jodi Sweeney started as a Director of Strategy and Planning at Avid Technology, a role she maintained for over five years.  In late 2008, Avid needed a new direction and the company promoted Jodi Sweeney to Senior Director, Market Solutions.  In that position, Sweeney did a radical revamping of the company’s long-term business plan, including creating strategies to reach out to target demographics that Avid Technologies was not reaching.  It took less than four years for Sweeney’s efforts to show measurable, significant growth for Avid.  With her success, Jodi Sweeney was promoted to Vice President of Market Solutions and Business Operations.

Serving as Vice President, Jodi Sweeney has been integral in shaping the policy and direction of Avid Technology.  With her new role of Vice President of Customer Success, Sweeney is taking the corporate theory she has been executing for years and applying similar principles to Avid’s customers.  With her success at the corporate level, no doubt many up and coming music producers will have Jodi Sweeney to thank for the guidance she provides on Avid Technology products!
