Audiko Lets Your Create Personalized Ringtones from the Music You Own

While there is a plethora of ringtones available for all types of smartphones via online music stores, there are times when you want something more personal as a ringtone but have no easy way to create it.  Fortunately, Audiko is a cool product in technology that gives you the ability to create a ringtone from any audio file that you own.  Audiko offers a simple set of tools that allow users to take a clip of up to thirty seconds from any audio file and convert it to ringtone format.  Users simply go on the website, upload the audio file they wish to use, and edit it directly in their browser before converting it into a ringtone.  Audiko lets you utilize any audio format you want to create your ringtone, including high definition audio formats like FLAC for those who want their ringtones’ sound quality on par with the rest of their music. PC support can always help you if you find yourself struggling to upload a file to Audiko’s website.

While Audiko can certainly be useful if you want a ringtone of a somewhat obscure artist or band whose songs aren’t available from most online ringtone stores, users can also use Audiko creatively in other ways.  For example, you might want one of your friend’s personal ringtones to be of their actual voice so you instantly recognize when they’re calling you.  With Audiko, you could upload a recording of their voice and quickly convert it into a ringtone.  You could also be creative and take audio clips from movies or TV shows.  Since Audiko allows you to convert virtually any audio file you can store on a hard drive, you have a vast array of options that would otherwise be unavailable.

One aspect of Audiko that may be difficult for some users is that it does not send your created ringtones to your phone for you.  It only converts your audio clips into ringtones that you can store on your hard drive.  In order to transfer the ringtones to your smartphone, you will need to plug your smartphone into your computer and transfer the files to the appropriate folder manually.  If you believe this will be too difficult for you, smartphone PC support would be able to help you transfer the ringtones you create in Audiko to your smartphone.  Currently, the ringtones Audiko creates are compatible with both iPhones and Android smartphones.
