Kealan Lennon Founded CleverCards to Help People Send the Perfect Greetings

Despite the sentiment involved in sending one, many greeting cards can feel impersonal.  When someone simply grabs a card from the Hallmark shelf at the drug store or picks a pre-formulated greeting from an e-card website, the feelings the care tries to represent often feel watered down and less impactful.  Choosing a card to send to someone does not have the impact that making a card does.  Kealan Lennon knows this fact, and that’s why this cool person in technology founded CleverCards in order to help people easily send personalized, thoughtful greetings with the help of social networking.

Lennon’s company uses Facebook in order to help customers derive greeting cards that are custom fit to the friends that people want to receive them.  With CleverCards, users can pull photos and information directly from someone’s public Facebook profile to make sure that they create a card that their friends will appreciate.  CleverCards currently works a Facebook application.  Users install the app into their Facebook profile and choose who they want to send each CleverCard to from their friends lists.  People can customize within the app and never have to leave Facebook to import anything to another website or piece of software.  With this model, CleverCard users must have their own Facebook profile.  People who have trouble setting up a Facebook account or profile can receive help if they contact an online computer support service.

CleverCards can also keep track of birthdays, anniversaries, and other special occasions through Facebook.  Using Facebook’s data, the app will inform you when an important date comes up, such as a close friend’s birthday or someone’s parents’ anniversary.  Users can then send a card directly through Facebook, never having to even get out of their seat or go to the store.  CleverCards does not send e-cards, but actual physical copies to a person’s address, so anyone who receives a CleverCard will have a physical memento.  Any user who has trouble operating the CleverCard app on Facebook can call phone tech support and get assistance.

Lennon has a long, well-documented career as an executive.  He has run numerous companies in the past, both ones he’s founded and others where he rose to the top position.  Some of the businesses that Lennon has been at the head of include K Partners, CJ Fallon, Wilton Radio Group, and AGI Media.  While the tech industry can operate differently than the rest of the business world, it is safe to say that Lennon’s experience leaves him well prepared for whatever challenges he faces at CleverCards.
