Mike Tang Founded Raise5 So People Could Use Their Skills to Raise Money for Charity

Even when people don’t have the money to donate to nonprofits and other causes, they are often willing to do anything they can to help.  Cool person in technology Mike Tang founded Raise5 in order to give people an outlet where they can use their skills to raise money for specific nonprofits and charity organizations.  On Tang’s website, people offer services for a price, but with a twist.  Rather than pay the person who provides a service directly, all money goes instead to a charitable organization of the worker’s choosing.  Users can offer services that cost anywhere between $5 and $50 on Raise5.  “Freelance fundraisers”, as Tang’s website calls them, post whatever service they want to perform on Raise5’s online marketplace.  These service providers advertise what charity they are supporting on each posting so buyers know what cause they are donating money to with each purchase.  Anyone who wants to offer services on the site, but has technical issues while creating a profile or posting, can get help from a professional cloud computer support service.

Tang lets his users offer a huge variety of services for charity on the site.  Postings include offers to edit blogs, write love letters, perform voice-over work, edit images, give haircuts, and even write music!  Tang clearly wants anyone with any type of talent to be able to contribute their time and effort in order to help a cause that they care about deeply.  This cool person also organizes the different types of services available on his site by category for users.  Different Raise5 categories include advice, writing, editing, business, art, and “fun”.  Anyone who can’t navigate the Rasie5 website due to computer problems should immediately seek out a solution from an online tech support provider.

Besides acting as the CEO of Raise5, Tang works in several other roles in the tech industry.  He is the product manager for the World Poker Tour’s online services and recently founded Tango Web Studio, a web development firm.  Tang clearly doesn’t shy away from adding more work onto his plate.  This cool person’s success as an entrepreneur and willingness to keep working and gain as much experience as possible likely mean good things for Rasie5’s future.
