Daniel Robichaud Created PasswordBox for Easier Password Management

Passwords are the bane of many people’s Internet existence.  This is especially true in recent years as the number of websites, online services, and mobile apps people commonly use that require usernames and passwords has increased.  That’s why cool person in technology Daniel Robichaud founded PasswordBox.  Robichaud believes there should be an easier way to deal with someone’s numerous usernames and passwords.  His product integrates with users’ browsers so that it automatically stores each password they create.  When a user wants to log in or out of any specific website or service, they open PasswordBox and find themselves presented with an organized list of their accounts.  Users simply click on the accounts they want to sign in or out of, and they can avoid login screens on all the websites they visit.  Robichaud’s solution avoids memorization and record keeping.  It might also save users a significant amount of time while they’re browsing the web.  For those worried about Internet security, Robichaud states on PasswordBox’s website that the encryption he uses for his program is high-level and similar to encryption used for military software.

While Robichaud offers his company’s desktop product for Windows and Mac, there is a mobile version of his software as well.  Robichaud’s mobile app lets users manage mobile-specific passwords on their PasswordBox account.  A user’s account settings will even synchronize across their tablet, smartphone, and computer.  The ability to sync an account across someone’s devices demonstrates Robichaud’s aim to provide customers with a unified and simplified password experience.  Currently, Robichaud’s product is available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.  Any users who experience problems installing the PasswordBox app on their phone or tablet should seek Android support or Apple tech support for help.

Before becoming the CEO of PasswordBox, Robichaud was the founder of both STREAMTHEWORLD and Radioactif.com.  Other companies acquired both of these previous startups, which prompted Robichaud to leave and start the process again by founding PasswordBox.  He is also the cofounder of Myvirtualpaper.com and remains a board member there.  Robichaud has significant experience in the world of technology startups.  Hopefully, that experience will help him guide PasswordBox to further success.
