SYRACUSE, N.Y. October 29, 2012 - "For this quarter, Lenovo and Asus not only hold strong in market share, but prove the most reliable," stated David Milman, CEO of RESCUECOM.

The computer reliability report scores for 2012 Q3 are:

1. Lenovo (402)
2. Asus (180)
3. Samsung (168)
4. Apple (160)
5. Toshiba (100)
6. HP/Compaq (99)
7. Dell (74)
8. Acer (29)
9. Sony (27)

The Rescuecom Computer Reliability Report is based on actual data collected from the market shares of PC manufacturers and Computer Repair statistics for that same manufacturer. Rescuecom's analysis takes into account the physical reliability of the computers plus the after the sale Computer Support provided by manufacturers.

Lenovo replaced Samsung in top rank by achieving a reliability score of 402 in this quarter. Most of the movement has been among the top three - Samsung, Lenovo, and Asus, while other manufacturers have remained quite consistent. HP has held consistently at right around 100 for the last 3 quarters. Samsung was the manufacturer on the steady rise for the last few quarters, but seems in this quarter to have taken a significant hit in reliability, dropping from a score of 422 to 168, though still reliable enough to place in the top three.

The most reliable computer manufacturers (in order of reliability), along with the data which was used to calculate reliability scores are as follows:

...Just had the most remarkable experience with Rescuecom! As an entrepreneur, my computer is my lifeline. I signed up in the evening, and was called within 1 hour. Roy took charge, and within a matter of minutes, restored my computer to fully functional. Best service ever! I will no longer go to the in store repair services again. Worth every penny for that level of customer service and peace of mind. less
